Intuitive operation
The user-friendly software requires only minimal process knowledge and allows for easy program creation.
High reproducibility
Precise cuts, minimal tolerances, and straight edges ensure consistently high quality.
Oxy-fuel cutting with XFLARE
In oxy-fuel cutting, a flame of oxygen and fuel gas is used to cut metals through oxidation. This process enables cost-effective cutting of thick plate thicknesses. Thanks to automatic gas pressure regulation, the pressure is kept constant and controlled within optimal parameters to ensure the highest cutting quality.
1. Ignition & preheating
The flame is automatically ignited in the torch by the integrated ignition system. Initially, local preheating of the workpiece to ignition temperature takes place.
2. Cutting process
The oxygen jet oxidizes the material, thus creating the actual cutting effect. The process is exothermic, meaning heat is generated, and the process remains active as long as the process gases flow.
3. Control & guidance
The XFLARE moves the torch at optimal feed rate along the workpiece contour. Simultaneously, the process parameters and distance are regulated to achieve the best cutting results.

Technology & equipment
Automated oxy-fuel cutting with XFLARE optimizes the cutting process through precise control of flame and gas supply. It ensures consistently high cut quality, especially for thick materials. Automation minimizes operator errors, increases efficiency, and reduces processing times, leading to overall higher productivity.
Automatic gas pressure regulation
The automatic gas console regulates the pressure of process gases and maintains it in the optimal range, resulting in very high cut quality.
Pre-selectable cutting parameters
Adjustable parameters for all gases and plate thicknesses during ignition, preheating, piercing, and cutting enable efficient and high-quality processing from the start.
Pre-calibrated tools (TCP)
The tools are already fully measured and calibrated, making them ready for immediate use.
Integrated ignition
This function ensures a reliable start of the cutting process by automatically igniting the flame, enabling a smooth beginning of cutting operations.
Flame failure detection
Increases safety and extends the torch’s lifespan by detecting and preventing potentially dangerous flashbacks.
Tool-free nozzle change
We enable a tool-free and quick nozzle change with one-handed operation thanks to a bayonet lock. This reduces downtime and minimizes idle periods.
High-performance nozzles for long service life
The PSF High Speed Cutting nozzles achieve both high cutting speeds and long service life.
Slag detection
The capacitive distance control detects slag to avoid disturbances and collisions. The distance between nozzle and workpiece remains constant, ensuring uniform cuts and longer nozzle life.
Plain-text error messages
Plain-text error messages are displayed via the graphical user interface to enable precise monitoring and diagnosis during the cutting process.
Sectional extraction
The sectional extraction automatically adjusts the airflow to the position of the oxy-fuel torch and extracts a large portion of the generated smoke downwards.
Extendable drawers
Extendable drawers offer easy emptying of accumulated slag and scrap, as well as quick retrieval of fallen good parts, especially in prototype production.
